tenten is an online bookshop based in Shibuya, Tokyo. We sell photobooks and photo zines made in Japan to readers in Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. On each product page, we tell why the book was made and what the photographer wanted to show.
If you are a photographer or publisher in Japan and would like your books sold to readers abroad, we would be glad to hear from you.
How it works
- Email us the title, details and retail price of your book, with a few photos.
- We look at your book and get back to you.
- If we decide to carry it, we agree on the terms and you send us the books.
- We make a product page and start selling.
Terms
- Whether we carry your books on consignment or buy them outright, we would like to discuss with you separately.
- Your share of the sale price, the consignment period, payment timing and the return of unsold copies are agreed with each partner.
- Shipping to tenten is paid by the sender. Shipping to our customers abroad is paid by tenten.
